Michael Schumacher – Dubai, $7 Million
Michael Schumacher is so admired by the crown prince of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, that the legendary F1 driver received a $7 million island from him. The island forms part of a man-made archipelago known as the World Island Project. From the top, the group of islands looks like a map of the world, with each island representing a country.
The island given to Schumi represented Antarctica and included a glass mansion, helipad, and a harbor capable of holding 100-foot yachts. It was recently reported that Schumacher was in Paris for stem cell surgery to help him recover from a head injury sustained during a 2013 ski accident.
