Sidney Poitier’s Daughter – Sydney Tamiia Poitier

One of the seven children that the legendary actor Sidney Poitier has had with his wife, Joana Shmikus, is Sydney Tamiia. On top of sharing her famous father’s good looks, she also shares his interest in acting. In fact, she started acting back in the late ‘90s after she made her debut on the big screen with Park Day.

She’s 46 years old now and has even given her dad a grandchild with her husband, Dorian Heartstrong. She’s played in series like Chicago P.D. and Homecoming. Since 2018, Sydney’s been playing in the Carter TV series. As for her father, he’s 92 and enjoying his retirement.
