A Sudden Turn

While Levi works the day shift, his wife works from home. That’s their everyday life, and that third day with Bruce started just like any other day. Levi was doing his job of patrolling city centers and nefarious streets, and while doing so, it didn’t cross his mind that he should be worried about the dog he left in his spouse’s care.

As soon as he finished his shift, Levi received a call from his wife. She sounded different, though, from her normal sweet voice. Hearing her like that, he knew he had to rush home to find out what was happening.
