A Week With Bruce

Levi couldn’t refuse Cathy’s request, so he agreed to take in Bruce until she got out of the hospital. She had to be monitored for a week before she could go home, and that’s how long he had to care for the black dog.

Bruce was already familiar with Levi from their first encounter, so this didn’t seem so bad. However, the servant of the law was kidding himself when he assumed that the week would go by without any hassle whatsoever. He did not anticipate that some things would change drastically in just a snap because of this arrangement.
