Nevertheless, the family was still looking towards a bleak future as the balance wasn’t by any means cheap. They were at their wit’s end as they had no idea how they would meet these requirements that were waiting for them. They were in debt, and things were looking grim; maybe their luck had run out, and the chicken had finally come home to roost.
