A Family Affair
Our story begins with Laurence Sunderland, an avid sailor from the Southern Coast of England. His affection for the sea was a part of his lineage and ancestry as his parents and grandparents were sailors too.
Unsurprisingly, Laurence chose to share his impressive hobby with his eight children, further continuing the family tradition. The avid sailor and his wife Marianne manned a fifty-one-foot boat, and it was only a matter of time before their team of eight made the crew. Before long, the whole family was made up of competent sailors, with the children being more adept than their old folks.
