When the name Jackie O is mentioned, a former first lady of the United States comes to mind. Of course, for Australians, it can refer to the moniker of blonde radio hostess and television presenter born Jacqueline Ellen Last. DJ Phil O’Neil had something to do with how Jackie O got her nickname.

He was offered a slot with the Triple M Adelaide radio station, but before taking it, his one condition was to make his Gold Coast’s Sea FM phone girl his co-host. The station, of course, accepted, which is why the star is called as such today. Aside from her radio gigs, the ‘The Hot Hits Live from LA’ presenter also hosts programs on television.
