Here is yet another vintage ad that reminds women of that era how they were perceived as mere helpers for the superior gender. The disconnection between what is on sale and the image makes the marketing tactic even more wildly offensive.

Thrown in somewhere in the write-up, apparently, the Mr. Leggs slacks would convince any woman to allow a man donning them to walk all over her. Even worse to think is how the model was subjected to the shameful process of taking the promotional snaps. The advertisement definitely evokes an emotion, and it’s the feeling of anger. Women are intelligent and capable.
