Girl-Sized Pens
There’s no disputing it; men and women are built differently. Past advertisements seem to have also thought that these biological differences were ideal marketing ploys, much like this pen maker. The 1965 promotional pamphlet marketed a special range of girl-sized pens.
It further explains that the writing jotter lasts as long as the brand’s man-sized pens. If each writing implement came with a similar shelf life, it made no sense why the manufacturer had to make different sizes for each gender. Going with their argument, next on their list would have been a collection of kiddie-sized pens.
