Expensive Teeth To Lose

There are lots of NFL players out there with gold teeth. Whether they’re in a grill, as dentures, and even as veneers, they’re seen as a symbol of status, particularly among the African American players. The only problem is, when playing with them, players risk losing them.

For Matt Elam, the former Baltimore Ravens player, losing his gold teeth almost became a reality when he got kicked in the face while making a routine tackle. Luckily for him, his helmet got in the way, saving him from the expensive mishap. Maybe this incident made him consider good dental insurance.
