Spooking The Horse
Horse racing is renowned as the sport of kings, and rightly so. It earned this name because it became synonymous with nobles, aristocrats, and royalty. Meanwhile, the jockeys who participate, riding the horses have unique skills and are also required to be lightweight and in good shape.
But none of that can prepare them for when a horse gets spooked. This often happens because the animal saw danger its jockey did not. When that happens, it doesn’t matter what command the jockey gives; the horse will rear up and try and avoid the danger, often to dangerous effect, as seen in this picture.
