In top-flight sports, where the best of the best meet, It’s in these games where there is often nothing between players and teams that marginal gains become important. Those can often be anything from a tactical gameplan, or a psychological one.

It’s doubtful, though, that anyone one of those tricks would be licking the armpit of an opponent. Then again, the player may have had intentions of licking something else, but he just so happened to be up against one of the tallest players in the world, Yoa Ming. So perhaps he was aiming for the cheek but got some armpit instead.
