Bull riding is a rodeo sport regarded as one of the most dangerous in the world. In it, a rider tries to stay on a bull’s back while it puts all its effort into getting the man off his back. As proven in the picture, the rider is learning the dangerous side of the sport the hard way.

But while injuries are coming for this sport, there have been very few fatalities. Humans aren’t the only ones drawing concerns in this sport, though. Animal rights activists have raised concerns about the shock sticks used to get the bulls out and the flank strap being tied over their genitalia.
