This photo is already one of the most awkward and cringeworthy ones on this list. Taken in a game between the New York Jets and the New England Patriots, we, and most likely the Jets player at the time, was probably hoping the Patriots player gets to the ball before it gets to his nether region.
The funny thing is that this doesn’t top the injury suffered by Orlando Brown of the Cleveland Browns. He was hit in the eye by a penalty flag thrown by an official. The injury put him out for three seasons, and he sued the NFL for $200 million, but reports say he settled for $25 million.
