Circus Tennis

Tennis is a pretty straightforward sport: forearm stroke, overhead volley, two-handed or single-handed backhand. But every now and then, a player turns up who adds some flair and imagination to their arsenal of shots to make the game more entertaining.
Some of those players include Joe Wilfred Tsonga, Justin Brown, and the above picture Gael Monfils, who is hitting a tweener shot. These shots are typically used when a player is returning a lob that went over his head. It’s done with the player’s back facing the net because they needed to make the shot without turning around. This, however, just looks like Monfils is showing off.
