TV Anchors and Their Salaries – See How Much They Earn on an Annual Basis

Ami Ciccone May 30, 2023

Seth Meyers – $5 Million

Seth Meyers is one of the most recognizable American comedians, having made a name for himself as the host of “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and being a cast member of the sketch comedy series “Saturday Night Live.” He is also widely acclaimed, with numerous major awards and nominations.

Seth has been superb, not just in front of the cameras but also behind them. As a writer and producer, he wrote and anchored “Saturday Night Live’s” parody segment, Weekend Update. His annual salary has risen significantly with his solo acts, and it stands at a sizeable $5 million, which he deserves for his unmatched prowess.

Pat Sajak – $15 million

Most of you know TV host Pat Sajak for his long run on the famous game show called Wheel of Fortune. He has been hosting the show since the ’80s, and the money he makes yearly is somewhere around $15 million. That sum is impressive, given the fact that he only works four days a month!

They film six episodes of the game show in one day, but Sajak and the rest of the crew get ample break time. You can expect to see more of him on TV because he’s currently signed on to continue hosting Wheel of Fortune until 2022.

Michael Strahan — $17 Million

Strahan is a former football player who played all of his 15-year career for the New York Giants in the NFL, winning a Super Bowl in 2001. But he’s moved on from playing defensive end to now playing talk-show host, and he does more than sports.

While doing NFL analysis for Fox NFL Sunday, Strahan also hosts Good Morning America, and it’s spin-off, Strahan, Sara and Keke. He also won a daytime Emmy Award for his work on Live! With Kelly and Michael. Strahan ended his football endorsements when signing permanently with ABC, but earning $17 million a year should have softened that financial blow.

Robin Roberts – $18 million

Famous for her ESPN SportCentre catchphrase “Get on with your bad self”, Current ABC Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts made a name for herself as a sportscaster on the sports broadcasters flagship show. She partnered with George Stephanopoulos to get GMA to the top of the morning network ratings. She was also inducted in the Women’s Basketball Hall of fame for her contributions through broadcasting.

Roberts also gained notoriety for a 2011 interview with singer Chris Brown where, in light of assault charges against him for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, she continued to ask questions about Brown’s relationship with Rihanna, despite his agitation about the subject.
