At 91, you’d think comedian Bob Newhart’s particular brand of wit and deadpan humor won’t be appreciated by the younger audiences of today. That’s not the case. He made people laugh as the fictional educational TV star in the sitcoms Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory.
His current success is certainly a beacon of hope for performers in the senior age range. Newhart has been around since the ‘50s and became a small screen mainstay after playing mental health practitioner Bob Hartley in his eponymous TV show in the ‘70s.

Billy Dee Williams, 84 , Born In 1937 – Star Wars Franchise

When Billy Dee Williams starred as Han Solo’s old friend Lando Calrissian in Empire Strikes Back, he was a fit man in his 40s. Getting to play the same character in another Star Wars film almost four decades later would be challenging. It was one he was willing to take, though.
Williams hired a pro to help him get back into shape to fight the Galactic Empire for Rise of the Skywalker. His regimen included regular exercise and a weight loss diet of vegetables, fish, and chicken, which helped him shift 25 pounds. Almost a year after, the 83-year-old is still looking his best.
