Plus, he is one of Carl Reiner’s best friends, the two regularly visit, and spend time with each other in their nineties. As a young adult, he had studied business management, but before he went on to be a businessman, Max took a turn in acting and directing.

From portraying Jethro in The Beverly Hillbillies series of the ‘60s to directing three films, including Hometown U.S.A., Max’s career was looking great.
