Ami Ciccone Aug 30, 2022

Mel Brooks, 94 , Born In 1926 – The Producers

Talking about The Dick Van Dyke Show, did you know that Mel Brooks inspired the character of Buddy Sorell? His name has been a prominent one in Hollywood for as long as we can remember. Both as a filmmaker and actor.

From Your Show of Shows and The Producers to Young Frankenstein, Brooks, now 93, has achieved great success and has numerous awards to show for it. Plus, he is one of Carl Reiner’s best friends, the two regularly visit, and spend time with each other in their nineties. Brooks, too, has limited his work to voice acting with a new animated film named Blazing Samurai coming up in 2021.

Victoria Principal, 71, Born In 1950 – Dallas

The feathered hairstyle from a few decades ago may no longer be in style, but Victoria Principal has no trouble adjusting to the latest fashion trends despite being 71 years old. After all, what else can one expect from someone who has her very own line of anti-aging skincare products called Principal Secret? She is the only face her brand needs.

Principal, best known for her long-time portrayal of Pamela Barnes Ewing in Dallas, has been away from acting work for two decades. It does make sense, considering she is now 71 and already boasting a $350 million fortune.

Max Baer Jr., 83, Born In 1937 – The Beverly Hillbillies

Although he might not have acted for almost three decades now, that doesn’t mean that Max Baer Jr. isn’t’ still around! He is 82 years old right now, living in Paradise, Nevada. As a young adult, he had studied business management, but before he went on to be a businessman, Max took a turn in acting and directing.

From portraying Jethro in The Beverly Hillbillies series of the ‘60s to directing three films, including Hometown U.S.A., Max’s career was looking great. However, after playing in an episode of Murder, She Wrote in 1991, Max stopped acting. The last time we saw him was in Jay Sebring…. Cutting to the Truth.
