Shona McGarty – EastEnders – Age 29

If you’ve been starring in a soap for as long as Shona McGarty has been in EastEnders, then you’d have your own list of your favorite storylines, too. For her, it’s the time her character Whitney Dean ended up murdering her stalker in self-defense, which led to a court trial sequence.

But it seems like McGarty’s experience with drama isn’t limited to her TV alter ego. In 2020, it was reported that she broke up with her fiance Ryan Harris. There weren’t any explosive details behind the split, though. She admitted that they simply grew apart and that things just weren’t meant to be.
